However Girls all ages are stilll welcome to apply.
Chestfield CC has been awarded the ECB Clubmark award consistantly since 2010 for its standards in junior development and safeguarding. In 2019 being also awarded the ECB/Natwest County Coaching Club of the Year.
It boasts 2 x ECB Level 3 County coaches, 10 x ECB Level 2 coaches, 8 ECB Level 1 coaches plus coach helpers.
Entering 9 junior hardball teams into the Canterbury District league also Kwik Super 8s and other local softball festivals.
The Junior section consists of approximately 60 kwik cricketers aged 5 - 8 years including girls.
Chestfield CC has a clear Player Progression Pathway, this is overseen by the Development officer to ensure Players are getting opportunities in their appropriate peer and ability group to maximise enjoyment and development.

Plus Junior Managers and Coaches. Parents are welcome to attend meetings etc.
All junior team Managers are Parents and their teams have an assigned qualified coach for weekly training. This coach where possible stays with the team through the duration of their junior progression through the age groups.
Part of our development plan is to form and progress a larger female section in the next 2 years from the girls in the Kwiks section to Females playing mixed cricket and softball u13s festivals.

Fees - Kwik aged 5-8 yrs £20 membership plus £50 training fees total £75 .
Hardball juniors u11s - u15s £30 membership plus £75 training fees Total £100
Training is approx 17 weeks from late April to mid August.
Kwiks Tuesday evening 5pm start - 6pm.
U11s, U13s and U15s Tueday evening 6pm start - 730pm
Age group matches are -
Under 11s, Sunday Mornings 10am start.
Under 13s Friday eves 6pm start.
Under 15s Wed eves 6pm start.
