Club house Renovation and Extension Project

The clubhouse and bar were renovated in Winter 2023 and we are very proud of the final product which is now open for hire every day from September to March with more limited hire available April to August.

Ladies Cricket at Chestfield cc

The ladies started their first softball season winning the league beating St Lawrence and Highland Court and Mersham cricket clubs.

Finals day is 3rd September 2023.

Community Petanque Courts

The Community Petanque courts project was completed in November 2021 following a joint project of the cricket club and the Parish Council.

Junior waiting list 2022

Due to fantastic numbers returning for the 2023 season we unfortunately have to put a waiting list on all the junior section

Planning to field 3 x u11s and 3 x u13s teams we are now at our limit to provide a safe and meaningful product.

Too many will dilute our product and put pressure on coaches and managers together with having to much playing rotation.

We are still accepting applications from girls as part of our business and development plan.

We are opening up the ECB Dynamos for girls aged 7-13yrs softball programme.

2020 ECB/ Kent Cricket Club/ Natwest Award

Proud to be awarded the ECB, Kent Cricket Club and Natwest OSCAR for Connecting Communities.

With Covid giving the the club a different year, alot of work was done to accommodate other local organisations that normally relied on other indoor venues to provide our venue for various outdoor sports and activities, gym club, walking netball, pilates, yoga, meeting venues for fundraising organisations including WIs and Canterbury Lions.

Also assisiting the Chestfield Parish Council with volunteere to deliver the 100s of magazines vital information for some isolated residents.

Investment in Square Releveling

7 New Qualified Junior Coaches

Chestfield CC are pleased and proud to announce we have been able to add to our coaching staff 7 qualified coaches to assist with our Kwik cricket age groups.

This takes us to over 20 qualified coaches at the club.

These members were volunteer coach helpers last year and attended the ECB Level 1 Coach Assistant Course to gain the quailification in September.
